I feel like when checking the user page we shall be able to "favorite" some user, or "follow", in terms of twitter.

for me there are some users I'd like to follow, e.g. some established algebraic geometers who answer questions in great details, or some graduate who always ask some interesting questions.

Once I followed them, i will be able to check their questions and answers easily.
