No worries about the I-bundle terminology. I think I had the same problem the first time I saw it. Maybe it would be easier to call them interval bundles, as it would sound and look more analogous to "line bundle". ]]>

In the thread about HP^n, you wrote:

"I've tried responding in the other thread, but the "add comment" button isn't working. Yes, I-bundle means bundle over a space with fiber an interval." while in the thread about RP^n, you've also wrote

"Oh, I -bundle means a fibre bundle over a space, with fibre an interval (I ). Since Homeo(I) , Diff(I) , AutPL(I) all have the homotopy-type of 2, you can assume the structure group is 2."

So, if I'm guessing correctly, it looks like your comment WAS added, but for some reason you can't see it. (And sorry for not recalling the standard notation for an interval, I still feel quite dumb about that) ]]>

http://mathoverflow.net/questions/8829/what-manifolds-are-bounded-by-rpodd/8830#8830

after entering text in the comment window and pressing "Add comment", nothing happens.

But I can enter comments in other threads. It's not clear what the prerequisite for "Add comment" to fail is, but it appears to be linked to previously pressing the "show more comments" button. I'm running FireFox 3.0.17 in Ubuntu, I'm not sure if there's any commonalities on that.

On my office computer there's no problem, though. That's running Firefox 3.5.7, also in Ubuntu. ]]>
