Yes, flag for moderator attention (or email the moderators). About all we can do is play whack-a-mole, but we can do it pretty quickly.

I think flagging the post for moderator attention is the quickest route. I don't think the moderators can block an individual, but they can close the question and contact the offending account. Also, my belief is that the owner of the answer or the moderator can delete the answer, and if done quickly enough (not in this case, though), the question owner can delete the question and all answers and comments going with it.

On my question http://mathoverflow.net/questions/25161/why-is-lebesgue-integration-taught-using-positive-and-negative-parts-of-functions/68747#68747, one person has lately been posting answers repeatedly. They keep getting downvotes, which is appropriate given their content, but I'm curious if someone can be blocked from posting answers to a question. Or can answers with no redeeming content be deleted by someone else (I don't know how to do it myself)?
