Badges still strike me as, hmm, a bit pointless... but I think their pointlessness is noticeable emphasized by the fact that one cannot tell what caused a badge to be awarded. From time to time I get a message telling me that I've got, say, a "Nice answer" badge... but as far I can tell I cannot know what answer was judged nice.
Should this be filed as a request for enhancement somewhere?
