Martin- The last time you complained about this on meta, Francois politely recommended that you contact the moderators directly, and this has been a consistent request we have made in response to any complaints about downvoting. Creating drama on meta just gives whoever does the downvoting exactly what they want.

The moderators should be emailed directly about this. Sympathetic though I am to your irritation, this concerns only you and the downvoter, and from what I understand the moderators can track voting patterns and contact the party involved through email.

I don't want to pussyfoot around, so I will tell you directly my concern: Someone (guess who!) downvotes my questions as soon as I react in a way to Harry Gindi's comments / answers he does not like. Then someone even downvotes other, completely unrelated questions or answers by me. This has not happend the first time.

Examples: http://mathoverflow.net/questions/30874/arithmetic-fixed-point-theorem and http://mathoverflow.net/questions/22459/x-y-xp-yp-xyp-1 were voted down after my reaction to Harry Gindi's comment here http://mathoverflow.net/questions/54076/notation-for-a-representable-functor. Today http://mathoverflow.net/questions/56564/what-are-the-epimorphisms-in-the-category-of-schemes and http://mathoverflow.net/questions/56887/rigidity-of-the-category-of-schemes were voted down after my reaction to Harry Gindi's "answer" to the latter question.

Please moderators, stop this kid. I don't care for reputation, but this behavior is unacceptable for a MO user ...
