It might be that you accidentally set a cookie at some point so that your browser uses some weird fonts. Could you try deleting all your cookies from MO (or at least all the cookies that look like they might be related to MathJax)?

It seems that on the MathJax official site http://www.mathjax.org/ all math is rendered with subpixel smoothing. So it may be a problem of Mathoverflow. On Stackexchange also all OK.

Instantly all subpixel smoothing disappeared in the formulas. Is it possible to bring it back?
