Perhaps it was closed for the wrong reason but IMO we should certainly be setting the bar for writing-up a question a fair bit higher than this. I would have voted to close if I had noticed the question. Users do have to put in some effort into writing up their questions.

This question got closed rather abruptly and has attracted votes to re-open. I didn't vote to close, nor am I voting to re-open, but thought it might be worth having a meta thread for discussion. My own feeling is that the author's previous questions and behaviour may have played a role here.
