It'd be a shame to have it wilt on a closed question. Merging sounds good to me. There's some overlap of answers; but D'Ancona's answer is completely new. Three possible courses of action:

  1. Do nothing.
  2. Close the later as a duplicate. This would result in a closed question with 4 answers and an open question with 10 answers.
  3. Merge the later into the former. This would result in a single open question with 14 answers.

I vote for merging, but I wanted to check to make sure nobody objects.
