Actually, in view of what I read about the way one can earn reputation
points: "if you post a good question or helpful answer, it will
be voted up by your peers: you gain 10 reputation points." (see
http://mathoverflow.net/faq#reputation), I cannot see why I have
only 31 of them, in spite of the fact that that my answers have received
votes that I think are worth more than that:
6 Demonstrating that rigour is important
2 Proofs of Gödel’s theorem
2 Examples of theorems misapplied to non-mathematical contexts
2 nontrivial theorems with trivial proofs
1 Complete mathematics
0 Arithmetic fixed point theorem
