I have edited back http://mathoverflow.net/questions/46115/subgroups-of-an-abelian-group/46300#46300 , following the agreement reached with Anton at the thread on re-opening this question. For some reason one of the participants at that thread wanted to change it to how it was before, with greetings and a not-real question. Rather than get into an edit war, I am directing this to the attention of the moderators.
