It is not! This:

This feed is valid, but interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations. Feeds should not be served with the "text/html" media type

might look harmless to you but it causes a tons of troubles to people who do not use Windows+IE or Firefox. There are lots of us old school Unix (Linux!=Unix) guys reading MO who are seriously affected by such things. I would kindly ask that you guys fix that.

This might be something to bring up with the Opera people.

I do NOT have any problems with Atom feed on meta.mathoverflow web-page. However RSS crashes the browser.
