    A new, recent answer to this old (2010) question http://mathoverflow.net/questions/18375/is-there-any-finitely-long-sequence-of-digits-which-is-not-found-in-the-digits-of has resulted in a steeply argumentative chain of comments and another new and argumentative answer. At the least it is time to close this question.

    You are right. The new answer could shed new light on good old habits of false thinking.

    It seems that you have absolutely nothing constructive to add here. If you don't want to be treated as a troll, you should avoid making these sort of comments.

    Anyway, it is unclear to me what was the point of asking the question in the first place: everybody knows that everybody knows that ... everybody knows that nobody knows the answer. I suggest we close such things at the first sight.
