    There's a Tips and Tricks page where I've been putting tricks that I think advanced users would find useful, but I don't really want to put in the FAQ because it would feel like clutter. If you have a suggestion for something to add to the list, or if you have questions about any of the tricks, please post here.

    Dear Anton, is there an option to hide pieces of a post, with a hide/show command?
    I'm thinking to technical explanations and details in a question, lists of data etc.

    @Pietro: nope. A "spoiler" feature has recently been implemented on SE 2.0 sites, but it doesn't look like that's what you want either, since it doesn't save any space. It just obfuscates the text until you mouse over it.

    In a recent meta thread, an entity going by the handle peter.krautzberger suggested site:mathoverflow.net/users as something to help in MathOverflow ninja searches. I immodestly suggest "system design" for the example, although I will be pleased to see any example on the Tips and Tricks page for searching the User pages.

    Anton, could a version of the answer by Shog9 at http://meta.mathoverflow.net/questions/322/why-the-extra-step-in-registering be added to the Tips and Tricks list for MO 1.0 users who, like me, have had a problem with the Gmail address not being recognized as an OpenID without having to take an extra step?
