Bug reports: Quotes don't seem to work in search

    Using quotes in the MO search feature is apparently supposed to search for a phrase, but it doesn't seem to be any different than omitting the quotes. Searching for "Banach Lebesgue" with quotes returns apparently the same results as searching for Banach Lebesgue, none of which contain the two words together.

    That's correct. There's nothing we can do about it, but there is a workaround: use Google (see tip 16 for how to restrict your search to MO). In this case, it appears that the phrase "Banach Lebesgue" appears only on this meta thread.
