    Hi,

I have posted a question on math.stackexchange and after not much of a response after almost a day, I would like to post it here on MO.
The link to this question is http://math.stackexchange.com/q/44905/2987 request you to let me know whether its a good idea.

I would suggest to delete the question here, and to wait a reasonable amount of time at the other site before considering undeleting it here. If you have been thinking about the problem for a while, you shouldn't expect a day is enough for other people to solve the problem.

I agree that "almost a day" is not really very long to wait. But, looking at the question, I think that the reason that it hasn't been answered is more likely that it is not very clear or well motivated, rather than being too difficult or better suited to MO. The paragraph defining the sequences is rather dense and I found it hard to read, followed by the question whether such sequences exist. If you don't even know if they exist so, presumably, have never come across any examples, why the four stage process involving such sequences and the four following questions? I lost interest before getting to the end.
