    Hi,

This is my first time in meta so I hope this question is acceptable.

Is there anyway to login to mathoverflow without having to login to gmail as well? Or even is there a way to simultaneously logout of both at the same time? I ask because sometimes I logout of mathoverflow but forget to logout of gmail. I've been lucky enough to be using my own computer when that happens so far though.

    Thanks
    Eugene
  1.

You can always turn on private browsing. I always do that when I know that the sessions might be saved later (e.g. someone else's computer, or a public profile)

    Ctrl+Shift+N in Chrome.
    Ctrl+Shift+P in Firefox.

No idea about Safari and IE since I don't use them (but the function definitely exists).

@Asaf - might want to edit your second attempt at spelling 'shift'...

I think if you don't click "stayed signed in" when you log in, then gmail will forget about you once all the browser windows are closed.

@David Thanks! This is what you get when you write things at zombie mode around 2:30am

Alternatively, you can add another OpenID to your account which is not associated to your Google account. This has also some other benefits in terms of privacy.
