There are some good suggestions for features on stack exchange but i am unable to vote cus i dont have enough reputation. The only reason I set up an account there was to vote up ideas that i think should be worked on. I have pretty much nothing else to offer over there although i would like to support some of the good suggestions. What are quick ways to get rep there? can i use some of my rep here to get some over there? I do not see how I could ask a non duplicate question or answer anything there, so there is literally no way to gain rep... maybe i will post this there. I think this is something still worth mentioning here though.

Look through the posts here for a feature request that hasn't made it to meta.SE. Then link back here so we can give you some votes (assuming that we individually approve of the request, of course).

I think posts of the form "please vote this up twice so I can vote" are a bit over the top. Meta.MO discussions typically have lots of suggestions for how SE could be different. You can just post one of those. For example, I'm pretty sure nobody has posted the feature requested in this thread.

i am little frustrated that people went ahead and posted this stuff before i had a chance to... In fact now the admins have closed Pete's question. I am not going to waste my time starting an argument at meta.SE, but i am wondering if people here have suggestions other than posting on SE since my question will just be closed as a duplicate at this point.

I did however answer one of these questions so maybe you could upvote my answer... http://meta.stackexchange.com/questions/41/can-the-threshold-for-upvotes-be-modified-for-meta-stackexchange-com/5358#5358

My current suggestion is to post in the answers your support. maybe your answer will get enough upvotes so that you can then vote up the question. Perhaps this will gain the attention of people who dont see this mandatory rep for voting up things as a problem

Please stop spamming meta.SE! Let me repost a comment I made:

@MO fan: relax! If you use an SE site often and you look at meta.SE (this site) often, there's no need to resort to these antics to gain rep on meta.SE. If you notice a bug or want a feature that nobody else has posted about, report/request it. If you have a suggestion for how to fix a bug or implement a feature, post an answer. If you don't spend any time on meta.SE, then don't worry about voting here. It's not like votes actually determine what features get implemented. They're just a rough measure of what people who use meta.SE want.
