    Sorry if this has already been addressed before, but what does "favoriting" questions do, besides put the question in a list in your user profile?

    Is there any way that you can get email notifications of updates to your favorite questions?

    Yes, it would be nice if we received notifications, like for questions where we have answered. If I recall correctly this was a feature asked for in meta.stackexchange before the whole SE 2.0 business.

    An alternative to email: every question (and user) has an RSS feed.

    Presumably there's some off-the-shelf way to get RSS feeds sent to your email, right?

    It would be nice if there were a combined feed for all your favorite questions. This could quite likely be hacked together using Yahoo Pipes, or a hand-rolled solution.

    @Noah: I'm not so sure. Googling a bit brings up a few old greasemonkey scripts that do this.
