I asked two questions about limsup and liminf at http://math.stackexchange.com/questions/17347/limsup-of-a-sequence-of-points-in-a-set and http://math.stackexchange.com/questions/17318/limsup-and-liminf-of-a-sequence-of-subsets-of-a-set.

I suppose that mathoverflow is just for research level, not for asking basic questions? Am I right?

But my questions seem not attract satisfactory replies and discussions. I guess they are either too hard or too stupid or something else. So I was wondering if I can post them at mathoverflow and hopefully I will get more enlightenment?

    Thanks and regards!

Tim, why don't you wait a bit longer? The questions are long so people interested in answering them (there, at math.SE) may simply have not found time yet to write an answer.

Well, I think, if Arturo (http://math.stackexchange.com/users/742/arturo-magidin) does not give much information, chances are few people there will.

I agree with Andres, a question simply not getting much attention on the stackexchange site is not a reason to migrate to MO.

Tim, to be perfectly honest your questions are just really long and detailed, and the longer your question is the more work you are asking someone to do in reading and answering it. This is not necessarily related to how hard they are.
