    How do I insert an image? Can someone provide either an example or a link to an explanation?

    See the images section of the editing help page.

    1. Host the image somewhere
    2. When entering your question/answer, click the little photograph in the toolbar, or highlight a bit of text and type CTRL+G.
    3. Paste the URL of the image into the dialogue box.

    Alternatively,

    1. Host the image somewhere.
    2. When entering your question/answer, type ![alt text here](http://url/to/image/here.jpg)

    produces:
